CALM TEA
Inspired after I reached into my apothecary for something to comfort me, to bring me a sense of calm in a moment of, well not feeling so calm. I feel we can all use a little bit of help in this area. There is quite a bit going on out there in the external as well as the internal landscapes that can feel like a lot. I personally sense overwhelm frequently which I find must be matched with many times throughout the day to find a place of calm and center. I feel better when I’m in a calm state. It’s from here that I am able to really extend out, connect and help others which brings me joy. And I really like that felt sense of joy!
Even for a few minutes to close my eyes throughout the day, I ask my Higher Power to be with me as a let my Calm tea infuse it’s goodness.
With a few deep breathes I allow the warmth of the tea cup in my hands to bring a sense of comfort, I inhale the smell of the herbs that are about to provide a deep sense of relief.
When I am in this calmer state, I am open to the presence of this moment, this gift from the true Source of my well being.
And I know again that all is well.
